I started my ceramics experience on the wheel in 2003 and fell in love with clay. I now mainly use hand-building in order to make the pieces that I envision. Each of my pieces is an organic form that suggests gentle movement and represents my view of nature's beauty.
While putting the piece together, I am planning on how I am going to glaze it to give it the look and feel that I want it to have. Many of my sculptures require at least ten glazes, underglazes, and stains that give them a unique depth of color and texture.
All of my work is decorative, inspired by the sea, woodland plants and other natural wonders.
